I brought a man from Nigeria after a 6 year fight once he arrived he started cheating abandoned me in 2 months I reported him but I don’t think it’s fair they are doing nothing and he still here.

Wrong. Came in on an ESTA. Got married in Vegas. Went back home to 🇬🇧. Been back many times since.

I used to just apply for an extension. I forgot what it's called. I-76 or so. It was like 80 bucks and took a year to process. In that time you were legal to stay. This was late 90's though.

catch is you can't leave the US while waiting. The whole situation is messed up, I'm in the UK + we filed an i130 last May. Still waiting to hear.

Why? You can enter for free and even get money if you use the southern border. No visa or ID required.

This is similar to what happened to me & it is now 20 years later that I am understanding my mistake. I got in with the ESTA and immediately applied for Asylum. Should’ve waited for 90days to elapse!

So you can only legitimately get to know someone and decide to marry them if this takes MORE than 90 days. The US government does not believe in the idea of love at first sight 😂

Been trying to get a green card for 3-4 years now, second application, no loopholes doing it all by book. Sponsorships, attorneys etc but it’s so difficult 💔
