My husband didn’t participate in raising our son at all. Not diapers, feeding, discipline. I taught all the manners. Now that our son is 16, dad is finally getting involved with him.

Unfortunately, my ex was excited for the first child, but excitement waned with 2, 3 + 4 (2 boys + another girl). Our + values grew further apart.

I’m 74, my son is 43. He knows to not have his phone out when we are at lunch or dinner. He also knows to open doors for me and helps me in and out of the car. Trust me he didn’t learn these manners

I had to do every think for my children my ex husband considered it was a woman's job to look after the children, that's why Im no longer married. I taught my children manners and to respect elders
