Those GX's have the 4.7 motor from toyota in it. The most reliable motor Toyota made for an suv. If I'm not mistaken I believe it's the same transmission also just like the sequoia and tundra.

I would pay $10k regarding the front suspension noise I’m sure it’s the upper control arms and shocks. No big deal. That car still has another 500,000 miles left. Change Transmission fluid
