Same thing happened to me, after I won the case no damn lawyer wanted to pick up my case to sue the police department this was back in 2014

But justice wasn’t served. He still had to go through 12 months of torture. You literally have to give up your rights while you’re out awaiting the trial. You are guilty until proven innocent.
