@tylerbutt_eats: From scratch ep 28: SUNDAY ROAST 🔥 Yorkshires: 1. Mix equal volume eggs, flour & milk with a pinch of salt 2. Fridge it for at least 20 mins - overnight 3. Get your oil hot for 10 mins in the oven 4. Then get your mix in and oven at 220 degrees C for 25 mins 5. Do not open that oven door Roast potatoes 1. Peel & quarter your potatoes 2. Par boil for 5 mins, drain, steam dry & shake to get fluffy 3. Add cornflour if you wish 4. And get into a big roasting dish with oil youve pre heated 5. Go in 15 min intervals in the oven at at least 200 degrees C and keep turning until crispy! 6. Finish with salt, rosemary, garlic, Parmesan and lemon zest Roast Chicken 1. Take out the fridge and bring to room temp 2. Butter up under your skin on the breasts 3. Shove lemon, garlic & Rosemary up the 🍑 4. Salt and pepper over the skin 5. Roast for about an hour and a half, basting halfway at least 6. Get to just over 70 degrees C and then cover in foil and leave to rest Cauliflower Cheese 1. Roast off your leaves and florets for about 20 mins 2. Make a roux with butter and flour, then add milk, Dijon, salt, pepper and plenty of cheddar 3. Mix in your florets and leaves and then bake until you serve Carrots 1. Peel and diagonally slice 1. Add to a pan on medium heat with butter, thyme, salt, pepper and sugar 2. Leave to get flavoury for 20 mins and finish with lemon juice Red cabbage 1. Slice it up thinly 2. Add to a pan with butter, vinegar, brown sugar, salt, pepper, cinnamon 3. Now braise on low heat for half hour, longer if you can Gravy 1. Use the magic of the chicken stock here 2. Mix with bisto gravy granules 3.
