I used to be ambidextrous as a kid and when one hand got sore writing I’d flip to the other. I think that makes good sense, but teachers made me only use my right hand. 🙄

I do a 2 dozen or more different things with both sides of my body,meaning at least a dozen with my left side and a dozen with my right side,hands and feet.What does this mean?

Left handed adhd'er here, who only writes and eats left handed, use scissors and everything else in right hand, also born on Friday 13th with green eyes. Haha random witch 🧙♀️✌️

in 4th grade my teacher lied to my parents about me doing g school work. she would throw away any work I completed with my left hand. she forced me to learn to write right handed.

My dad was a leftie but my grandma changed it and my brother is a leftie my ex husband is a leftie but our kids aren’t lefties I’m sad about that

i am waiting onna referral from my GP for adhd. when i was 6 @school said i had it but my mum didnt want the test as it meant i would be put in different classes and written off

Private Christian school would tape pencil in my right hand. When I was learning how to wright. Not allowed to use my left.

In 1990, I was the only left handed kid in my kindergarten class. I was taught to right only with my right hand. I can be ambidextrous but I shouldn’t have been forced to develop that skill.

My grandpa was left handed but forced to write with his non-dominant hand in school. It took him 4x longer to write things.

Becoming ambidextrous was another form of masking. We adapt to fit the world because the world doesn't fit us, but then we spend our whole lives struggling and stressed and feeling like outsiders.

I’m left-handed and I remember my mother telling my teachers to never stop me from using my left hand. I had one teacher refuse to teach me penmanship because of this. I had to figure it out myself.

I've always been 1000% convinced my little sister should have been left-handed. As a child she didn't understand how to hold silverware properly and she was forced to learn. As an adult

My dad grew up going to a Catholic school and the nuns would beat him because he would keep using his left hand. Irony is its the neatest handwriting

I'm 29 and I was made to write with my right hand in year 3-4 until the other teachers caught wind! strangely enough I'm now diagnosed with dyslexia and waiting an ADHD diagnosis as an adult..
