Absolutely not. If you need to keep using the property for friends/family visiting, you rent it as a holiday home instead. And organise in advance to make sure its free on days that family is staying

This happened to us.The owner sent a letter saying we need to leave for 3 weeks whilst the owner and girlfriend came back to UK but we could go back afterwards… we left and never went back!
