The arms aren’t bad as far as pain. It’s an easy recovery and the surgery doesn’t take that long. The hardest part for me was the thigh lift and look suction. Still don’t regret it though! Arms first.

do it now. I had my arms done. no insurance. it was about $4000 in 2005. I took the weekend and went back to college on Monday. swelling was the biggest issue. that got better over a few weeks.

I would do the arms now/pre-kids because the recovery will probably require no lifting/holding (kids) & you might need your arms 2 stand after stomach

Worked plastics and have had skin removal due to VSG; do the arms by themselves. I say that to allow for the best healing. If you do too much at once you jeopardize results and usually take longer

Hi! I just had my stomach/pannis done 4 weeks ago! I got a VSG in 2020. My stomach and thighs were both covered by insurance however, my surgeon would not let me do both at the same time.

Splitting the surgeries up might be helpful because with how hard of a recovery a tummy tuck is, having your arm muscles available to help pick up some of the slack is helpful!

I had the gastric sleeve in 2017 and just had the loose skin removed off my arms and stomach a week ago. Doing them together was tough the first few days, but it’s nice knowing it’s all done!
