I have to throw away five “dead” books a day, each in a different trash can around my school. People still pull them out of the trash and try to return them. 😜

I just saw a video of a librarian who looked up the last people to check out old books that hadn't been checked out in 10 years the kids were graduating so she sent them to the last kids to check them

I have a teacher in my HS who debates me on anything I'm weeding. He can't seem to understand that there are reasons books can't live on shelves forever and ever.

The non useful books could go to crafters. Lots of people use old books for projects. Like crystal books and modge podge projects. Paper mache
