@edwardcollins_upleveled: Did you know that the frequency of your mortgage payments can significantly impact the total interest you pay over time? While splitting your mortgage payment in two doesn't reduce interest, opting in for bi-weekly payments can cut down your principal amount quickly and reduce the amount of interest you pay over time. By paying every two weeks, you make 26 half-payments per year, which adds up to 13 full monthly payments. #MortgageTips #FinancialFreedom #RealEstate #Homeownership #GetUpleveled credit (IG): AJ Catanzaro - @motoacademypodcast SF0436
I just pay a few hundred extra every month idk if that helps or not.

mtg companies typically dont apply anything until the full amount is paid, then you can apply extra daily if you wish on that account, until the next statement. fine print. its not like most other loa

Pay your normal payment and then pay extra principal on the last day of the month if you pay it on the 1st or the 31st it doesn’t matter and daily interest is usually calculated at the start of month

You pay twice a month yes, 1st and 15th. If you have a 3k mortgage and you split it so it’s 1500 then pay 250 on principal to make your 2 payments 1750 then you will turn your 30 year into 17.
