@montethesingingdonkey: Heck, y’all. I did some really BIG, brave boy things today! As you know, donkeys grow in their winter coats MUCH sooner and hang on to them MUCH longer than horses. Coupled with my age, even though I am the picture of health, I have a hard time shedding my winter coat in time for HECKIN Texas heat! 91° feels like 96° at 3pm today. 😆 Last year, our friends at @wahlanimal sent us some swanky clippers, and mawm did an ok-ish job on my haircut 😂. But this year? THIS YEAR! I let mawm clip my whole HECKIN body without sedation OR A HALTER. Including my fave FACE most of my legs! Even my whole belly!😃 I relaxed and just let mawm do her thing and she almost cried - she is so silly. When mawm got me 4 years ago, I had had 26 years of very little known positive grooming experiences, and a lot of trust issues in general. I trust mawm and she trusts me - and today was a huge win for both of us. I stayed up front and hung out with her for a long time after we were done. She said I made her whole week - plus I got extra snacks 😆. Any HECKIN way, fanks for supporting me, and mawm!
