The GT2 RS was powered by a 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine that produced 620 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. This allowed the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 205 mph, making it one of the fastest road-going Porsches ever built. The GT2 RS featured extensive use of lightweight materials, including a carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) hood, front fenders, rear fenders, and rear wing. This, combined with other weight saving measures, resulted in a total curb weight of just 3,020 lbs.
