why not remove skirting ?? timber exspans and retracts up to 10mm which will result in squeaking of floor and buckle the floor

The gap at the skirting boards…. Remove the skirts and install on top, or use scotia

only one i dont do anymore is the radiator pipe join, prefer pattern to be consitant on the laminate.
