when I bought my house there was carpet from the kitchen , to the dining room, to the living room. was ripped up the min I got the keys.

I worked with contractors for a couple years and carpet is STANDARD in the bathroom and you normally have to pay extra to have tile or something other than carpet. 🤯

I grew up with a carpeted bathroom (I'm 48, you do the math). Anyhoo, mold was an issue, yeah, but occasionally, we'd get mushrooms growing in the corners. No lie.

Carpeted bathrooms were really common in the United States, but you still use bath Mat. And I'm pretty sure there's special carpet. It's not just like regular carpet you would find in a bedroom

my great grandmother had a carpeted bathroom. that was the day i learned that waterproof carpet exists soley for that purpose.

I wouldn't put carpet or hard wood flooring in a bathroom,kitchen, or laundry because of the risk of water damage.

Do you know that they’re used to be a time back in the 70s wall-to-wall carpeting in the bathroom was acceptable. Now we use under the floor heated tile.
