I have an epiPen and I have a fear of needles. I’m afraid to have an administered, but I’m totally OK with it if it needs to happen.

Only in the states does it cost so much. In the rest of the world it’s free or about $100 for a 2 pack

I hope these alternatives are affordable. It would be nice to have more options beyone EpiPen and Auvi-Q.

This is fantastic. We have two epipens that are about a year expired. Can’t afford to replace them but I’m told they’re still effective. I would love an alternative that was easier to keep handy.

should we start color coding the common nasal sprays? I think getting this and narcan or midazolam confused could be easy and catastrophic in a fast situation out on the street

Kinda reminds me of the narcan sprays with that dispenser. Still really cool stuff!

I feel like the nasal spray eliminates a lot of the risk of user error. Can’t inject in the wrong spot or not push hard enough if it’s a simple nasal spray

And I still can’t get an epi. I go into anaphylactic shock with shellfish and some types of seafood… insurance claims because my throat doesn’t close fully, it’s not necessary. It closes 85% I believe

I went to get a refill of my toddlers epipen the other day and it was over $300??? That’s more than his entire wordrobe costs and he could potentially die without it🫣 crazy

Once EPP is administered in any of these ways, the person still needs to seek further medical treatment.

could someone use a primatene inhaler to help with an allergic reaction in a pinch?

My 11 year old son asks my about this every once in awhile. He, my husband, and father in law have a yellow jacket allergy. So we can’t wait for a nasal spray option.

are there epipens that come with a trainer pen aside from the brand name? I get brand name only bc of thsi but it's backorder and I have MCAS so this 2+ months with no epipen is scaring me

and it burns like a bad word, idk if I'd rather have the nose spray or EpiPen but I know my insurance probably won't cover the spray, the sublingual would be great

I never felt the needle when my son’s girlfriend administered my epiPen in my thigh. I’m so thankful that she was there and so calm.
