just put a couple cinder blocks on top the rake. works like a charm. plus it packs sand at the same time

I live in Kentucky and have tall fescue but my yard is unlevel in places. Would it be alright to scalp my yard, use sand to level it, and then let it grow? Or do I use sand often?

I use a flexible metal leaf rake and it settles it down just fine thru the grass.
