D9 sister I agree with you. I’m furious it’s extremely hard to get picked in the Alpha chapters I know so many young ladies that would love to have had that opportunity that didn’t get it or want it.

IDK, I think they just liked her because she looks like she would lean more towards the AKAs. How could they deny people who went through the whole process? That’s crazy to me. They were legacy too? I’m sorry, but it seems like they just gave it to her and no one appreciates what comes too easy.

Alters? lol Listen, there’s so much secrecy about the crossing, no one would know what’s fully to come until you get there. And to call this a psych issue is crazy work. Some may be doing this for clout, but she has valid concerns from a Biblical perspective. While the organization may seek to do great things, it can still have processes that go against God’s Word. God rejects blending His worship with pagan religious symbols (Deuteronomy 12:3–4). Even if not worshipped, the warning includes making and elevating symbols of false gods (Exodus 20:3–5). Even if an idol is seen as “just symbolic,” Paul says using pagan gods/goddesses in religious contexts aligns with spiritual forces opposed to God (1 Corinthians 10:19–21). In Scripture, wisdom, leadership, and service are always attributed to God, not to human-created figures (Proverbs 2:6; James 1:5).
