pick up and drop off every day . it's the safety and seeing that exhale and comfortability on your kid as soon as they get into the car. school mode is off and home mode is on❤️

I changed my day to get to the school 2 hours before dismissal and wait in the line that was already 20 cars long, because my kid was having an emotional time at school, and it made them happy

I don't do drop off and pickup, but I still connect with my kid. It's kinda crazy to imply that people that don't do it don't like their kid.

My mom refused to drive me home from school bc we lived less than a mile away. When my brother was in HS she picked him up ALL the time. Guess who isn’t in my life anymore. Little things add up

Naw, it’s good for the kid to develop independence. Walking to and from school was some of my favorite times as a kid.

i rode the bus all through school. my mom was a stay at home mom. my parents only did things they were obligated to do. we don’t talk anymore. they never understood why i felt like i was just 1/2

Honestly the bus is probably 1. better for the environment and 2. School traffic is INSANE at some schools if more kids at my school took the bus it would be great.
