@gothorella: But why Pink mold? a rare behind the art video! 💞🌌 Generally my art pieces are made first because I want to try a new material or technique and devise an art piece to fill the need but this was one of the rare instances where the idea for the piece came first with the only consideration being what I already had on hand (So I didn't want to get new stuff to make this) . Though admittedly, the very first iteration of this piece was pretty much i wanted to wreck i mean fill one of my reclaimed/ dumpster frames for fun. Though admittedly originally it was a super saturated hot pink frame covered fully with the pink pears and a super saturated neon green center with a pink foil radiation sign lol. so it changed a bit through the conception phase 😂💞🌌 As far as why I don't typically make these explainer-y videos (which if you'd like more please let me know in the comments) is because I think my personal meaning should be thought of like fun trivia that maaaaaybe informs what you think about the piece but is in no way more important than, whatever the first thing you thought when you saw the art piece was and whatever thought trails come from that. And I would hate for my relatively poor explanation of my intent upon the pieces inception to limit whatever that initial value you might have gotten from the piece could have been So again, hopefully you think of this video more like fun trivia than artistic gospel 🖤.
