always knew this day would come, but it still hurts. 😭 i grew up with this app. musical.ly became tiktok, and whitney became whitneytbh... thank you to those who were there with me from the beginning, those who stayed when i fell off, those who checked in, and those who reached out. love u all. posting was my escape. and then as time went on, it became something i didn't like. i lost motivation as time went on. posting used to be fun, cute, and cool – and it still is, but now there's less motivation, less inspiration, more competition, more eyes, and more pressure. so i lost the spark. i think i failed on tiktok in a way... i could've done more than i did, but life got in the way. i got lazy, sad, discouraged... my laptop broke... and so i had to detach a little from a thing i was too attached to and start taking care of the things i could actually see and feel in real life. but i still love, love, love posting, and i have things in the works, so i'm going to keep trying. this isn't the end of the world... just the end of a world. life is going to continue, and we all have to face reality again. as difficult as it sounds...and as difficult as it truly is. life is already happening... global warming, fires, ceasefires 💓 this isn't goodbye... nor is it the end. at least for me, it is only the beginning. if you haven't and you still want to, follow me on insta, and now youtube and soundcloud! same handle: whitneytbhofficial. i have things in the works. things that needed some time (lots of time)...perhaps... this spring, summer? we'll see 🤭 after all that's said and done, what if tikok doesn't even get banned. this would be embarrassing. 😅 but still, this appreciation post is long overdue. thank you. thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, and then thank you some more. because without you guys, i would be nothing literally. so yeah. bye. | #whitneytbh #singtok
