My midwife really encouraged me to try and stand up as straight as I could manage as often as I could or lay flat on the bed if possible, it really helps with healing x

3 days post c section here. I’ve been doing the recycling 😅 feel great. Personally I don’t find it very painful - very sore yes but keep on top of the pain relief and the recovery will be better!

Day 5 post c-section was amazing for me. Just pulling but no massive pain. Those first few days are testing to say the least! X

I remember my stitches (natural birth) were agony and my hubby looked and checked them every day for signs of infection! The pain was unreal
