@corridor.rescue: Bingo was originally found living on the streets of Houston with two of his siblings. Shortly after our street team volunteers were notified of the dogs in the area, we were told by local residents that one of Bingo’s siblings was deceased and the other had been taken. After assessing the situation, we knew he would not survive much longer on his own. He was rescued by one of our dedicated volunteers and was immediately started on fluids, treated for sarcoptic mange, and began dewormer for his heavy parasite burden at our kennel facility. Bingo was originally Parvo negative but days later tested positive for the Parvo virus. We knew Bingo’s situation on the streets was critical but after learning of his extensive medical issues, it became even more apparent how much he needed us. Bingo has begun supportive therapy for Parvo but is currently not showing any symptoms of the virus. After a week of treatment and rest, he is now often seen playing with his very own toys throughout the day.
