@foodbya: Peri Peri Rice 2 large cups of rice Wash and Soak for at least 30mins - Butter (about 2 chunks) - 1 Medium chopped onion - 5-6 cloves garlic - salt 1and half tsp (add more when you add water taste it) - Kashmiri chilli - half tsp - Coriander powder - 1tsp - Tumeric - half tsp - Jeera (cumin seeds) - half tsp - 2 chopped mixed chillies (they taste like pepper they’re not chilli) - Add bits of water when cooking the masala if starts to stick. - you can add veg of your choice I just kept them plain. Once oil rises add your washed rice. Mix and add half tsp yellow food colouring. Add 2 and a half cups water. Once water bubbles and rice is half cooked add your lid on top with foil, keep on low heat for 8-10mins. The steam will cook the remaining rice.
