I think it depends on the vibe of the wedding. Where I am weddings are drinking events, where the adults let loose. Not really appropriate for kids to be around drunk adults imo

I think it’s up to the couple. It is their one day. We have kids and had kids at ours but respect our friends who love our kids but didn’t want kids on their day.

It’s not about keeping an aesthetic or being “classy”, it’s about having a limited amount of seating and prioritizing the adults you want to attend. Also, doing what you feel is best for your wedding!
