You can get new parts for old trucks. just did a Borgeson steering shaft on my 79. Column bearings etc are readily available as well.

drb fab makes a lower column bearing for this generation im pretty sure, have one for my 88 it took a ton of play out of my column

They sell aftermarket sealed bearings that bolt in place of that plastic bushing. Stiffens the column right up

Parts are easily available for Dentsides I got a similar part for the steering column of mine before two buses totaled it

Question, 2017 ford f150 yellow wrench light comes on and then shuts off. 5.0 6 speed transmission. Truck comes to a complete stop and stays on 3rd gear and will accelerate slow, no codes ?
