Go to a trade school. Plumbers, electricians, painters are in demand and earn a ton of money. I am a retired writer. Worked close to 40 years in radio then govt. The skills you mention are spot on.

I also graduated in 6 years. I'm 7 yrs out & make almost 4x the median income at my dream job. So yes it was def worth it; but, your major makes a diff & how much you actually learn while you're there
