My dr tried to induce me at 40 weeks they said baby was getting to big. I didn’t listen let her stay until she was ready. 42 weeks in and she was born not breathing.

As an ultrasound tech, I've seen some very scary things happen at more than 41 weeks so😳

No. As someone who’s worked in L&D for many many years, I’ve see way too many still births after 40 weeks.

I did my own research and landed on the ARRIVE Trial study so I for one will not be going over 40 weeks but yall stay safe ✌️

In Denmark, they typically don't start inducing before the 41+5 mark 🙏

no I will not because I went over 40 weeks (I had two due dates, and they went by the second one) and my placenta started to tear away - baby and I nearly DIED in emergency c section.

43 weeks and a 42+5 both with the biggest healthiest placentas. Nature isn’t flawed 🤍

No because mine died at 39 weeks and my son nearly did too. 3 days of seizures & 3 weeks in NICU & he sustained a nice brain injury! ✌🏻

Had a beautiful home birth at 41+1; my placenta according to my midwife was “beautiful and healthy” and so was my son! The ARRIVE study is so flawed

I am so paranoid that the fact that the chance of stillbirth goes up after 40 weeks is TERRIFYING ME

The hospital I gave birth in has changed its induction policies and they let women go to 42 weeks now 🙏🏼

i was induced at 38 weeks and my placenta was gritty and unhealthy at delivery, I’d hate to know what could’ve happened if i gestated longer.

I gave birth at 41+5 also! and was prepared to stay pregnant until my baby was ready! I absolutely refused any medical interference and I'd do it again 🥰

Once I hit 40 weeks, my appointments are every 3 days and I have to send a video of babes heart rate everyday. Yes there are risks, but that's why we up the monitoring towards the end.

Yep! I had #3, 11 days ago, 14 days "overdue".. The hospital was rather p!ssed that I kept refusing inductions 🫠 she came when she was ready 🤷‍♀️
