I love this. I absolutely hate rocks in flower beds. They look nice but can be such a mess and go everywhere. I'm definitely doing this when I have a yard.

Another good tip is to enjoy the foliage color and texture as much as the flower because the flowers are short lived. Foliage will add depth and contrast 🌸

sedum is great for dry yards a lot of varieties most can handle cold weather down to -10 -20 even lower
