The dentist here in the UK is soooo expensive. America consumed a lot more sugar than us but they also have fluoride added to all their water including tap water

I’m from England and was told my entire life I had perfect teeth. Went to the dentist every 6 months, never had cavities. Moved to the states, went to the dentist and needed 8 fillings right off.

I am a Brit living in US. Literally had my teeth cleaned regularly in both countries. But with insurance, dentistry in US seems better (more willing to use gas and sedatives) and cheaper.

My dads dentist does a scrape and polish every 6 months (nhs) mine doesn’t and it’s at the same practice, think it’s down to the individual dentist, mines lazy af but can’t change 💀
