This is the best advice. I adopted a dog that has extreme anxiety and dog aggressive. I just don’t believe in returning a dog. I love him but if I fostered him, I would have never adopted him.

I don’t foster anymore but one of my foster dogs was adopted and we just days later got a text from the person that is in charge of fostering that the new owner is going to try and keep her for 6 1/2

Agree to an extent but I lost my soul dog and 2 months later, same breed (hard to find) showed up at a shelter near me. I knew she sent him and I got him immediately. Love him so much ❤️

I don’t disagree in theory as long as you are not looking for a young, small dog, which will get adopted quickly so will not be available to foster

we adopted our dog off the van and boy do we love her but BOY WAS SHE WORK! we learned so much though and are now able to foster and use our learnings 🥰🥰
