Or you could just put planning in for 300 houses. Instant approval, as the councils don't bother arguing these days as they haven't got the money to fight developers. Then just build one house....

The law that gave you 28 days to stay on your land in a temporary structure changed in 2023... to 90 days per year. so split your land in 4 and rotate where you stay. sorted.

10 acres split into 10 bits. All separate names on land registry. Live on each other’s plots. When the cancel starts sell it to another member of the group. This really tied the council up.

😂try buying land and being a Traveller and try for planning 😂 I know someone who’s planning was refused because “The site can be seen from the air” 😂

if you register land down as a charity for nature ,you can build barns then after 5 yrs you can change one to a house because you need to be there to look after animals. my mate did he now lives ther

they can't make it illegal to live on the land, there notice applies to the address & the address is not land. land is physical addresses are not.

won't it be easier to just stay on a parent's or friends census form as staying there? then you stay on your land but "live" somewhere else.

If I own 3acres and rent the rest so I get agricultural right so I build a barn or two on my 3 acres and then for some reason the owner of the land I rent stopped renting me the land would I still be allowed to keep what ive built

You only have to look at how the travelling community park up and stay there for years to know it takes a long time to actually get someone off some land 😂

dig a hole. when they come round say you are building a barn structure, you are allowed to stay on site for a period of time. when that expires, fill hole and get planning for a different structure.

You can get a small farm in Spain for less than a cheap empty piece of land in the UK, my mate just bought 2 acres with a 2 bed house for €15k.
