. love life and life will love you back. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver. Love is a choice you make from moment to moment.

Menopause has become one of the most talked about health topics over the past few years. And, as topics get more frequently discussed, the variety of information we get exposed to, of course, increases. But is all the information we consume ACCURATE? On social media, it’s easy to believe that the menopause experience is mainly a negative one. Indeed, much of the conversation on social media around female hormones has a negative stance. However, my guest on the podcast this week, Professor Annice Mukherjee, believes we need to start changing the narrative - and that menopause can be a positive experience for many women too. During our conversation, Annice and I discuss something she calls the ‘menopause paradox’ – that ON ONE HAND, there has never been a better time in history to be a woman, with greater equality and better treatment options for symptoms, yet AT THE SAME TIME, more women are struggling with their midlife health than ever before. Let’s hope, then, that social media can begin to highlight both the positive experience menopause can bring, as well as give women accurate information that empowers them to take control of their health and happiness with confidence. Leave a ❤️ if this resonated with you or leave your thoughts in the comments below👇🏾 ⭐️ Please note this is a SHORT CLIP from EPISODE 360 of the 'Feel Better, Live More' podcast with Professor Annice Mukherjee.
