The complements might be a trap, some people know how to ‘fake’ compliment because of their manipulations. Instead of words notice if their eyes compliment you. You can tell the difference.

It’s so sad that this is the way my mother raised me. Gossip was normal, negativity was normal, being an energetic drain was normal for her and she was the only adult who spent time w/me.

I think I’m going through an awakening and realizing I might actually be a witch. I’ve had the signs for years but never understood them until now. Someone recently even called it out—she says she’s a witch too—but there’s always been strange tension between us. I get a heavy feeling around her, almost like our energies clash.
