I used to work at a gas station and when people would cut the whole line drop money and announce a pump, I would make note of the last person in line, then when that person was done I would then put the money on line cutters pump.

I did this once! I paid for someone who got cut off. When I told barista the person cut them off they refused them service so they had to wait in line to leave and didn’t get coffee- local coffee shop
