I’m 37 and used to watch the show when it came out. Used to think it was so awesome how they took care of each other. Now I’m a mom of 4 and can’t fathom expecting mine to do these things 😬

I watched this yesterday. Jinger is very well spoken. And i tried to watch the one they did with Jill but every other question she was saying “ like i wrote in my book”. Turned it off

Thank goodness I had incredible siblings who looked after me and younger siblings while mom worked 3jobs and Dad drove truck. We all had choirs on the farm but we worked together

I have 4 kids I do have my older two help the younger two do things but I AM THE MOM I help them with everything I just give the 2 big ones the opportunity to learn how to teach and learn patience

It's more healthy for your parents to be involved in all routines and everyone works as a team anyways obviously there were groups of each of y'all that were together will keep each other in line

As the oldest of eight, I totally agree with this. I was a 2nd Mom to my siblings and I resented it but I wanted to be good and helpful. Now I go to therapy and take care of myself.
