I converted one of my bedrooms into a laundry/utility room. I got told the same.. I don't care! my home is not a investment vehicle.. I live in it and I want it to be useful for me.

One suggestion… add a built in double door “broom closet”. I added one in ours for all our dogs food, meds, brushes etc, vacuum, mop and brooms.

Great job. Love the progress!! Maybe an air drying rack for those delicate pieces of clothes. I would say put the desk looking out the window that way you have a nice view when working in there
