Yeah I bought same, this one is expensive, but only gardena is selling spare parts so when it gonna break, it will question is when, you are able to fix it. No need to buy new one

I have some drip watering hoses that a previous owner installed. Added some gardena quick connect attachments after buying the reel and it's perfect.

My manual hose reel lasted 12 years. Those automatic plastic ones break. Especially when kids play with it. I like that I can also pick the type of hose I want with a manual too.
