The only thing I do differently, I turn off the tank before the burners, this allows the gas in the lines to be burned off and less chance of gumming up, imo

Pro tip, if you don’t have a grill scraper, crumple up a ball of tinfoil and use that to clean your grill

Be careful using wire scrappers - I know someone who ingested a small wire that fell off & stuck to grate/food.

It’s a good idea not to open the valve all the way on the propane tank, it only needs a 1/4 turn for emergencies

When you hook up your tank check for leaks use water and dish soap and look for bubbles if there is a leak.
