Brain fog is the worst! I am definitely not the person I used to be and it affects your confidence in all things from work efficiency to driving. Truly awful. I’ve even thoughts about giving up work.

This is why I took redundancy- others thought I was ‘getting old’ and I believed them. Now it’s hard to get back into the workforce bc now I look different - older, heavier.

I’ve had to go part time and would have given up work altogether if I could afford it. Not just brain fog but the constant and complete exhaustion is unbelievable. 😢

It feels like words are locked behind a paywall. Also, I found I couldn’t read for long - about 20 mins then I couldn’t read sentences. I knew the words, just couldn’t put them together.

I thought I was having a stroke or had dementia. I could not find words, and they are words that I knew. For me it is one of the worst symptoms and so incredibly frustrating. 😫
