Nurses getcall by AHM saying you have a pT in Ed you need to find someone who isn’t under your specialty ie renal or close to discharge and accept the Ed pt who is. So we have to go 🥺 and move you.

I understand as I’m a nurse and it sucks but the hospital has a huge role to keep everything flowing. I’m sorry that it happened at 1am. At least you’re still in hospital being provided ongoing care.

I was moved from icu to the ward at 1am at that hospital last year! But that’s ok someone else needed an icu room more than me so happy to move

Unfortunately movement happens 24/7 but strange at tha hour when ya have been there for two week, must have availability in a specialised ward become available. Or needed an iso room.

Yep that’s why I take my mum to ryde hospital, it maybe little but it’s faster and she gets treated great there. Sorry you were left like that. Hope you’re ok

I was in hospital in Melbourne last year, I got moved 12 times in 14 days, including a 12.15am patient transport pick up to transfer hospitals! It's bullshit!
