I bought a $50 plug in heater from Woolworths just to keep my bedroom warm and was the best thing I’ve EVER bought! I can actually get out of bed in the morning without freezing to death

This is what I don’t understand when I get told I must be use to the cold because I grew up in England- our homes are insulated so no I’m not use to the inside of a house being colder than outside!
