POV: Instead of following the latest trendy exercise promising to blow up your biceps and grow your d*** 10 inches, you stuck with the same exercise consistently and gave it more time. With so many fancy exercises being thrown around on IG (including by me!) it’s tempting to switch it up and try something new constantly. Plateaus don’t happen because you need a change. They happen because muscle and strength gains are slow. You probably don’t need variation, you need patience. Exercise variations are useful for finding the moves that feel good for you, but once you’ve found that set up, the real magic happens when you stick with the same move for a long time and do absolutely everything you can to push through plateaus both in and out of the gym.
