That gate will just drop the timbers running diagonal through top one needs to run down other day or it will drop and you’ll be going back to sort it

cost me £250 for a double gate 6ft by 6ft solid and perfect fit considering both houses have subsided lol 7cm difference between top and bottom. lol

Yes, the braces need to support the weight on the opposite side to the hinge or it will drop over time.
