My friend wanted to start his own campaign and we decided to test out characters. Someone had that and we all collectively decided silvery barbs is a no go spell 😂 included the guy who took it.

Yeah, silvery barbs is one of my least favorite spells in 5e. It’s wayyyyy too powerful for a 1st level slot.

and this is why I banned silvery barbs from my campaigns... my players legit used silvery barbs on my BBEG and ruined the fight since they were SUPOSSED to die for the storyline lol

As a GM let me say this. Any loophole or cheese your players do, keep it in your back pocket while letting them have their fun. Cause when you pull out the same trick it’s so much funnier.😂
