I know not same breed, when my dog went blind my mom cut shirt up with her scent and made a path to door,food, bed. she did this for few weeks and she learned the layout.

My big ole boy Turbo went deaf before he passed and I was so grateful we thought to do hand gestures when he was young to train him. Also, we didn’t know he was deaf until til we realized he 1/2
