My boyfriend was at dining in a resturant and on his receipt. It said delivery fee and charged him $1. A dollar isn’t much, but he was confused because he didn’t order delivery. It was ridiculous

I’ve notice that they don’t give itemized receipts at many Chinese restaurants a couple of places I thought the total was to high. I just stop going.

$11 is way higher than normal but most dim sum places charge a per-person fee (called the tea fee) of a couple dollars a person

Traditionally Dim Sum restaurants charge per person for tea usually 1-2 dollars, 11 dollars is overboard..but it’s usually there.

Keep receipts and check your credit card statements. I’ve had too many extra tips added on, most recently a $20 tip on 2 drinks at a bar instead of $2

There's an AYCE sushi spot that lists their miso soup in the ayce section, no price on it, but whenever I order it they always charge me on top of the ayce price!!
