When my mother passed away, that’s when I truly realized how important life insurance is. She didn’t have any, and I wasn’t educated on it at the time. I was already in a deep state of depression, and on top of that, I couldn’t even fully grieve because I had to figure out how I was going to bury her. I was overwhelmed and heartbroken. Thankfully, so many beautiful and kind people around the world came together to support me through a GoFundMe, and they helped me lay my mother to rest. That was one of the most stressful and humbling moments of my life. I will forever be grateful to those who were there for me when I couldn’t be there for myself. That experience taught me a valuable lesson, and I want to share it with you: if you have money to go to the club, buy drinks, designer shoes, and handbags then please make life insurance a priority. It’s not about fear, it’s about love and responsibility.
