@awesomeframers: I just posted a video about glulams on YouTube. Over the years here on IG and YouTube, people comment that they don't trust the glue in engineered wood products. As if they haven't been used all over for many, many decades. Testing is still done, here is an example of this. Notice the wood breaks, NOT the glue. Similar testing is done with connectors and the wood fails first. #engineering #buildingscience #skilledtrades #builders

Part 1 as a retired heavy duty diesel mechanic it always amazed me even just wood would take when we placed heavy steel equipment on by itself. I know of buildings with gluelams in them over 70 years
