Maybe you should have kept the lights out the pot. Do 2 lights, a flower pot & 2 more lights on each side to make it stretch out more

Get some larger stone like rip rap and do a border with it on your drive. Also get you a few 1gal beautyberry bushes. They grow fast, pretty berries that are edible plus help prevent mismosquitoes.
