The sprinter van we have with the Mercedes diesel is absolutely the worst vehicle I’ve ever seen. $25k in repairs in 5 years and still don’t run.

My only objection to “prophylactic” part replacement is that sometimes aftermarket replacement parts are worse than the tired OEM parts

Im driving a -08 vito 4 cyl, has run for +850000 km. The motor has never been renovated, dont need any oilfill between services. Got a new gearbox at 420000 km.

that's an old sprinter diesel, in Europe people swap chassis and keeping the engine, it's nothing for them
